Bahrain All Share Index yesterday closed at 1,908.41 points, marking a decrease of 1.63 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to a drop in the consumer discretionary sector, the material sector and the real estate sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 916.57 points marking, a decrease of 1.87 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 135 equity transactions took place with a volume of 663,540 worth BD249,904.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 45.29 per cent of the total value of securities traded.
