A ban on maritime movement for seafarers using fishing and leisure vessels was introduced yesterday by the Interior Ministry as part of efforts to protect Bahrain’s coastline.
The ban, imposed in response to the recent Iranian attacks on the kingdom, will be enforced daily from 6pm to 4am until further notice.
Ministry officials have urged all sea‑goers to strictly comply with the restrictions to ensure their safety and avoid legal consequences.
These measures aim to strengthen maritime security and enhance overall preparedness under the current circumstances, the ministry added.
