His Majesty King Hamad received a phone call from Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, who expressed his country’s condemnation of Iranian missile attacks targeting the territory of Bahrain.
He affirmed Lebanon’s full solidarity with the kingdom and its support for the measures and actions taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national achievements.
The Lebanese President also strongly denounced the involvement of a terrorist cell affiliated with Lebanese Hizbollah organisation in plots aimed at undermining the kingdom’s security and stability, reiterating Lebanon’s support for Bahrain in all measures undertaken to protect its security and preserve its stability.
His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the position of Lebanon and the sentiments of solidarity conveyed by President Aoun, as well as his support for Bahrain.
