Air quality remains safe and within normal parameters after Iranian attacks against Bapco Energies and GPIC facilities this morning, according to the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE).
The council conducted field tests after the fires were extinguished and found no abnormal levels of pollutants in the air.
Specialised teams tested air quality during a comprehensive field survey of the affected facilities' surroundings and adjacent residential areas. The results showed normal air quality levels.
The SCE also noted that it continues to monitor air quality levels in Bahrain around the clock as part of ongoing precautionary measures and in coordination with relevant authorities within approved emergency plans.
The SCE urged the public to obtain information from official sources and avoid circulating rumors or unreliable information.
