Takaful International Company, a subsidiary of the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), has officially unveiled its refreshed brand identity as it marks more than three decades of operations in the kingdom.
The Islamic insurance provider will now operate under its established legal name, Takaful International, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its independent brand equity while maintaining its position as a key player in the regional market.
The rebranding reflects the company’s commitment to its founding principles of fairness, transparency and shared responsibility.
According to a statement, the new positioning is rooted in the traditional risk-sharing essence of takaful, where protection is viewed as a mutual community effort.
“Protection, for us, has always been more than a promise – it is a responsibility we have upheld for more than three decades,” said Takaful International chief executive officer Essam Al Ansari.
“Our refreshed identity reflects the strength of our legacy and our commitment to building a future rooted in fairness and shared values. While we evolve our brand, we remain firmly grounded in the principles of takaful, where protection grows stronger when it is shared.”
The company confirmed that the brand refresh will not impact day-to-day operations, existing policies, or services provided to customers and partners.
Moving forward, the firm plans to leverage GIG’s regional expertise to expand its Sharia-compliant offerings and enhance customer experience.
This milestone marks a new chapter for the provider as it seeks to deliver sustainable value to shareholders and policyholders across Bahrain.
