Customer behaviour shifted towards more deliberate, value-conscious purchases during Ramadan and Eid, according to one of the largest retail groups in Bahrain.
Al Rashid Group (ARG), an affiliate of Landmark Group, has assured its customers that its stores, e-commerce platforms and delivery networks remain fully operational, despite the ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
ARG also noted that it remains committed to maintaining stable operations, reliable customer service and continuous access to essential retail products and services across the kingdom.
“Overall, we remain cautiously optimistic,” ARG senior vice president and country head Sandeep Narain explained.
“We are monitoring regional developments closely, but our commitment to delivering value, reliability, and an exceptional brand experience to Bahraini families remains unchanged.”
The group noted that despite Ramadan and Eid trading period being marked by a more cautious consumer environment, teams are focused on delivering a seamless customer experience across channels.
ARG maintained a disciplined operational approach during Ramadan and Eid, while strengthening inventory management, calibrating staffing, and enhancing service-level execution across stores, online and last-mile delivery.
“Across the Ramadan and Eid period, our priority was ensuring stable and reliable operations across all channels,” Mr Narain added.
Proactive supply chain planning and close co-ordination across the logistics ecosystem supported this operational stability.
The business is closely monitoring the market to stay aligned with customer preferences.
“As we move forward, we are taking a measured approach by closely tracking customer sentiment, refining assortments, and managing inventory with greater precision,” Mr Narain added.
ARG remains focused on safety protocols, internal communication, operational continuity, and team readiness.
The business is also supporting community initiatives, including an Eid shopping experience for children in partnership with a local orphan society, as well as clothing donations to charitable organisations.
These efforts reflect a continued commitment to supporting Bahraini families and communities.
“We remain confident in Bahrain’s resilience and the strength of its leadership, and in the ability of the kingdom to navigate the current environment and continue on its path of growth and stability,” Mr Narain noted.
