Bahrain Haj Mission committees conducted a field visit to Mecca and the holy sites as part of preparations for the Haj season.
They inspected accommodation and camps designated for Bahraini pilgrims and assessed their readiness.
Specialised teams reviewed preparations at accommodation sites, with the evaluation and follow-up committee inspecting buildings and facilities, while the security committee verified compliance with safety and civil defence requirements.
The teams also followed up on the preparation of camps through the planning committee, in the presence of representatives of Bahraini Haj tour operators, including checks on structural installations, infrastructure and site development projects.
The committees and tour operators affirmed commitment to completing preparations in line with the highest standards to ensure the best services for Bahraini pilgrims.
They praised co-ordination with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to facilitate the performance of rituals with ease and reassurance.
