Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa conducted an inspection visit to Isa Town as part of a series of field visits and inspection tours across the governorate.
The visit included a follow-up on citizens’ service and development needs, in the presence of a number of officials and residents of Isa Town.
Shaikh Khalifa affirmed the governorate’s commitment to follow up and implement residents’ needs in co-operation with the relevant authorities. He also highlighted its continuous efforts to develop the service and development sectors, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in a manner that serves the urban growth witnessed across all areas of the Southern Governorate.
The Governor listened to officials from the relevant authorities on the stages of key development and service projects in the area, including the Central Market project, and reviewed the quality of the public facilities and services incorporated in the project.
He also inspected the Isa Town Events Hall project, noting that it responds to the needs of residents and citizens for various social occasions and contributes to the development and enhancement of vital facilities in the area.
Shaikh Khalifa affirmed the governorate’s continued support for enhancing communication and community partnership, and ensuring a swift response to residents’ needs and proposals through direct field engagement and follow-up during visits and inspection tours.
He praised the efforts of the relevant authorities in following up on the implementation of these needs across various sectors.
