New York: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Johann Wadephul, Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, on the sidelines of their participation in the Security Council meetings in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed the historical friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany and means to enhance bilateral cooperation in various domains to serve common interests.
The meeting also addressed the latest regional developments, the repercussions of Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz on international navigation and the global economy, and exchanged views on regional and international issues being discussed by the Security Council.
