In yet another instance of a crowd becoming too rowdy, legendary musician Eric Clapton walked off stage during a recent concert after being struck by an object thrown from the audience.
During a performance in Madrid, Spain, on 7 May, Clapton had just finished a song and was moving across the stage when he was hit in the chest by what appeared to be a vinyl record. The musician seemed startled for a moment, paused, and then continued offstage.
While Clapton typically returns to the stage for an encore on his current tour, he did not reappear in Madrid following the incident. Fortunately, he did not appear to be injured and performed his next scheduled show in Barcelona on 10 May.
