Bahrain Odia Samaj’s (BOS) female members recently conducted special prayers – Sabitri Pooja – for their husbands’ well-being, protection and prosperity.
The festival holds unique importance in Odia culture, blending ancient tradition with local customs.
For married Odia women, the day of fasting and prayer embodies devotion, love and cultural identity.
On this day, the women seek the blessings of their husbands and elders. BOS president Ram Chandra Sahoo and senior members, including Kishor Das and Ashok Pani, thanked and blessed the ladies on the auspicious day.
