MOTORSPORT – BAHRAINI-British GT team 2 Seas Motorsport qualified in the second row for both of tomorrow’s races in the second and third rounds of the 2026 British GT Championship, being held at Oulton Park in England.
2 Seas’ Kevin Tse and Ben Green, sharing the duties in their #18 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, took fourth on the grid for the meeting’s pair of sprints.
Their teammates Ian Loggie and Aaron Walker, meanwhile, behind the wheel of the team’s #15 Mercedes-AMG, qualified 10th and ninth for the season’s upcoming challenges.
Tomorrow’s first race, which is round two on the British GT’s 2026 calendar, is scheduled for a 1.05pm start, while race two, which will be round three, will flag off at 5.45pm. Both times are Bahrain.
In yesterday’s first qualifying session to determine the grid for race one, Tse and Green clocked a fastest lap time of one minute 34.298 seconds. They were 0.200 seconds off the pace of pole winners Andrew Howard and Ross Gunn of Beechdean Motorsport, who were behind the wheel of their #7 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo.
Loggie and Walker’s best time in the session was 1:35.755, putting them in 10th.
In the second qualifying to set the race two grid, Tse and Green went quicker at 1:32.631 while securing the same grid place. Howard and Gunn set the pace yet again, securing a double pole after going 0.413s ahead of 2 Seas’ leading pair.
Loggie and Walker claimed ninth in the starting order with a top lap of 1:33.234.
2 Seas, co-owned by Bahrian’s Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, are hoping to bounce back from a tough season-opening round last month in Silverstone, where they fielded a three-car entry but only their #15 car – driven by Walker and then-partner Andrew Gilbert – reached the chequered flag. Tse and Green did not finish, nor did their teammates and last season’s British GT drivers’ champions Charles Dawson and Kiern Jewiss, who were making a one-off appearance this campaign in their #1 Mercedes-AMG.
