The Bahrain Haj Mission has completed the transfer of the Kingdom’s pilgrims to Arafat in a smooth and orderly manner, as part of a comprehensive field plan prepared in coordination with Bahraini Haj tour operators and the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Head of the Bahrain Haj Mission, said the transfer process was carried out according to the approved schedules and designated routes, with transportation organised in stages, contributing to the efficient management of crowd movement and ensuring the safety of pilgrims en route to Arafat.
He noted that the mission’s field committees had been deployed since the early hours of the day to oversee the movement of pilgrims and provide support and guidance throughout the process, adding that the operational plan took into account the distribution of departure times and transport routes, which enhanced the smooth flow of movement between the holy sites.
Shaikh Adnan praised the cooperation between the Bahraini Haj tour operators and the mission’s committees, commending the significant efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving pilgrims and facilitating the performance of Haj rituals.
