Children should be taught basic safety principles from an early age, including understanding hazards and recognising the serious consequences of risky behaviour. Continuous supervision, age-appropriate safety education and open communication with children are essential measures to help prevent similar tragedies and protect young lives.

Day by day, the fear is increasing. As a mother, I am really afraid to let children play alone. I have a two-year-old child in Dubai, and now I feel scared to let him play unsupervised. Seriously, doesn’t a 10-year-old child understand basic safety? Parents should teach safety protocols when children play with others. A 10-year-old should know that a two-year-old cannot run properly or communicate clearly. Even when children are with their parents, they can still face bullying or rough behaviour. I have personally experienced this. Don’t parents have the time to teach their children kindness and proper behaviour? This incident has deeply broken my heart as a mother. A big hug to the child’s mother.

I hope parents stop showing such movies to young kids that leads them to become murderers. I know they are just kids but what might have made them do it? Why did they find it fun? Please don’t show your children such movies. Also parents must teach their children what is harmful and how they should stay humble to others. This is sad in many ways.
