The Central Bank of Oman has unveiled a limited-edition silver commemorative coin to mark the FIFA World Cup 2026, with only 5,000 coins minted worldwide.
Produced in partnership with FIFA, the coin is made from 99.9% pure silver, carries a face value of one Omani riyal, and weighs 28.28g. Just 1,000 coins will be available in Oman, whilst the remaining 4,000 will be distributed internationally through FIFA-authorised sellers.
The coin will go on sale from June 30 at selected Central Bank branches and Oman Post’s Opera Galleria outlet, with prices starting at OMR 73, subject to global silver market fluctuations.
