Students of Bhavans Bahrain Indian School (BIS) who achieved high scores in the All-India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) were recognised in a ceremony held recently.
Leading the cohort was Pranav Bobby Sekhar, who secured 97.8 per cent and achieved the highest score in Physics (96) in Bahrain, earning the title of ‘Island Topper in Physics’. He also excelled in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and qualified for JEE Advanced.
The second and third top scorers were Sakshi Lal, with 97.6pc, and Ishan Pande, with 97.4pc. Both qualified for JEE Main as well as JEE Advanced.
Across the streams, Pranav topped science, Sakshi led Humanities, while Aysha Yusra Shamim topped Commerce with 95.6pc, with Harshil Jain coming second. In Science, Ishan secured the second position and Ahmad Suhail Wani placed third.
Perfect scores in English were secured by Ishan and Sakshi, along with Darwina Manoj, Dhruv Satish Kumar and Amruta Varshinee Murugan.
Those who achieved a full grade in math include Pravan, Ishan, and Darwina, while Ishan, Pranav, Ahmad and Yuvraj Agarwal scored 100pc in computer science.
Suchika Panjwani earned a perfect score in Informatics Practices and Sakshi Lal achieved 100 marks in history.
Several students distinguished themselves as subject toppers, including Darwina in biology (99pc), Amruta and Vaishnavi Vinayakumar in economics (99pc), Sakshi in psychology and applied mathematics (99pc and 93pc) and Ahmad in chemistry (96). A special commendation was extended to nine students who secured A1 grades in all subjects. The school management congratulated the achievers.
