A new platform aimed at broadening community outreach has been launched by an initiative that provides psychosocial support to children with cancer.
The Smile Dokkan (Smile Shop), located at Innovation Themes and Coffee in Manama, was unveiled by ‘Smile’, an initiative of the Future Society for Youth, recently.
The platform offers a diverse range of creative products and gifts made entirely by young Bahraini talents, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their parents.
The launch was attended by society members and the café’s management.

Proceeds will go towards supporting children with cancer
By making Smile Dokkan products available in an accessible and vibrant setting, the initiative seeks to engage a wider segment of the community and encourage support for its humanitarian mission.
Society chairman Sabah Al Zayani said the launch marked another step in expanding the initiative’s reach and ensuring the sustainability of its support services.
“Supporting children with cancer requires sustainable initiatives that enable the wider community to play an active role in this meaningful humanitarian cause,” said Mr Al Zayani. “This new platform gives visitors a simple and direct way to stand alongside the children and their families by purchasing unique products created by talented young Bahrainis.”
