National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa directed the launch of the Gadeha Youth Training Camp.
The camp will be held from August 8 to September 3, at Exhibition World Bahrain.
The camp is organised as part of ongoing efforts to invest in young talents and foster the values of national belonging, discipline and responsibility through a comprehensive training programme that combines physical and educational challenges with life skills in a military-inspired environment under the supervision of specialised instructors.
Shaikh Nasser emphasised that Bahraini youth are the kingdom’s true wealth and that investing in developing their capabilities is a fundamental pillar of continuing the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad.
He said the Gadeha Youth Training Camp embodies a comprehensive national vision to prepare a generation capable of facing challenges by instilling the values of discipline, self-reliance, teamwork, leadership and accountability, while strengthening national identity and a sense of belonging.
Shaikh Nasser added that the camp aims to provide high-quality programmes that enable participants to acquire life skills, enhance their readiness for the future, and familiarise them with the national role of the military and security services in protecting the kingdom and safeguarding its achievements, reinforcing the values of loyalty and positive citizenship.
The camp offers 30 training hours over six days for each group, with daily sessions from 9am to 2pm at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Participants will undertake a range of stations and challenges designed to test endurance, concentration and reaction speed, while developing life skills that promote self-reliance and responsibility, in addition to gaining practical insight into military work and the roles of the military and security services.
The organising committee invited those wishing to participate to register through the camp’s website at Gadeha.tv.
