Muharraq Governor Salman Bin Hindi and Northern Governor Hassan Al Madani expressed appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad for the directives to provide all requirements for the success of the Ashoora commemoration, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the government’s support in ensuring its successful organisation.
They also commended the efforts of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and the ministry personnel for their role in maintaining security and providing a safe environment for participants throughout the commemoration.
The governors lauded the efforts of the relevant authorities, ministries, government institutions, ma’atams (community centres), as well as community committees, noting that their co-operation and adherence to the approved organisational procedures.
