HIS Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has praised the readiness, efficiency and professionalism of the GCC armed forces in countering recent Iranian attacks.
The King affirmed that an attack on any GCC state is an attack on all when he received the chiefs of staff of the GCC armed forces, the GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs, the Commander of the Unified Military Command and the newly appointed Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs.
The meeting came follow- ing the military committee gathering in Bahrain of the chiefs of staff.
His Majesty expressed appreciation for the chiefs of staff for their efforts in strengthening co-ordination and integration among GCC countries in military and defence areas.
He also highlighted their unified stance in countering threats to regional security, and wished them success in carrying out their duties.
The chiefs of staff expressed their appreciation to His Majesty for his directives and support for GCC co-operation across all domains.
