Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa has appointed Mark Eletr as General Manager.
With more than 30 years of international
hospitality experience, Eletr will oversee the resort’s operations, guest
experience, commercial strategy and team culture.
Eletr brings extensive expertise in luxury
resort leadership, hotel openings, repositioning projects and island
operations, having held senior roles across Australia, Asia, the Middle East
and the Maldives with hospitality groups including Anantara Hotels &
Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group.
His career highlights include leading the
refurbishment and reopening of Hayman Island by InterContinental and the
pre-opening of Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay in Vietnam.
Known for his people-focused leadership
approach, Eletr has also contributed to industry development as a Board
Director of the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry.
His appointment is expected to support
Hilton Maldives Amingiri’s continued growth among luxury travellers, including
couples, families and multigenerational guests.
