Valuables worth AED 500,000 (approx. BD 50,000) were recovered by Sharjah Police just three hours after a break-in at an athlete's home.
The burglary was reported after a home in a residential area was targeted while the family was travelling overseas.
Specialised officers from the Sharjah Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were dispatched immediately, launching a rapid investigation and search operation.
The suspect was apprehended in record time, and the stolen items were fully recovered.
