The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) Band has won advanced positions in the World Music Competition currently being held in Scotland, United Kingdom.
The RAFO band secured overall first place in Category 4B in the “Dundonald” and “Bridge of Allen” competitions, in addition to overall second place in Category 4A.
At the “Dundonald” competitions, the RAFO’s percussion group won first place, in addition to the award for best military appearance at the general level.
At the “Bridge of Allan” competitions, the RAFO band secured second overall place in infantry and military appearance competitions among non-UK contestants.
