His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received Italian Ambassador Andrea Catalano.
He welcomed the ambassador and reviewed the long-standing partnership between the two countries.
The King commended the advanced level of Bahrain-Italy relations, affirming the kingdom’s continued commitment to further strengthening co-operation across all domains in the interests of both countries.
His Majesty also praised the ambassador’s dedicated efforts to advance bilateral ties and wished him continued success in his duties.
In recognition of the ambassador’s efforts to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries, His Majesty presented him with the Order of Bahrain (First Class).
Ambassador Catalano expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for the honour, expressing pride in receiving the decoration.
He also commended His Majesty’s efforts and commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and advancing co-operation between Bahrain and Italy.
