The Higher Committee for Haj and Umrah Affairs announced that it has received 54 applications from Haj tour operators seeking approval to operate during the 1448 AH/2027 Haj season, following the close of the application period on August 2.
The committee said it has begun reviewing all applications to ensure they meet the approved requirements and criteria, ahead of announcing the final list of approved Haj tour operators.
It emphasised that Haj tour operators may not advertise their services or prices until they receive official approval to operate.
The committee noted that the final number of pilgrims allocated to each Haj tour operator will be determined based on pilgrims’ registration and selection through the electronic platform.
