The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced the conclusion of the third edition of the Bahrain Summer Games Festival, also referred to as Bahrain Summer Toy Festival, held in strategic partnership with Beyon Al Dana Theatre and the Exhibition World Bahrain, achieving remarkable success by attracting more than 110,000 visitors from within and outside Bahrain.
BTEA deputy chief executive officer for resources and projects Dana Al Saad affirmed that the success achieved by the third edition of the festival reflects the increasing demand for the quality events offered by the authority, and embodies the success of its efforts in developing an integrated tourism and entertainment product that meets the aspirations of families and visitors from within Bahrain GCC countries.
Ms Al Saad pointed out that the large turnout witnessed by the festival, and the tickets being sold out on most of its days, reflect the public’s confidence in the quality of the content and organisation, stressing that the authority is continuing to develop events and initiatives that enhance the diversity of the tourism product and raise the competitiveness of Bahrain on the regional tourism map.
She also noted the pivotal role played by 220 Bahraini organisers in the success of the festival, through their efforts in providing an integrated organisational experience for visitors.
She said that the results achieved by the third edition of the Bahrain Summer Games Festival represent an incentive to continue developing the event in its future editions, which will enhance its position as one of the most prominent summer events in Bahrain, and contribute to supporting the tourism and economic movement and attracting more visitors to the kingdom.
