Bahrain Mar Thoma parish held a loyalty pledge ceremony reaffirming its devotion to the kingdom at the Mar Thoma Complex in Buhair.
Parish members attended in large numbers and signed a ‘document of renewed loyalty and allegiance’ addressed to His Majesty King Hamad.
The event was followed by Friday devotional services, led by Parish Vicar Reverend Biju John, Co-Vicar Reverend Samuel Varghese and parish member M T Mathews.
During the ceremony, church leaders reaffirmed the parish’s unwavering solidarity with the leadership and sovereignty of Bahrain.
Special prayers were offered for the continued health of His Majesty and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The signed document was submitted to the relevant government authorities.
