Government work requires a sustained effort to encourage a culture of creativity, Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa said yesterday.
This is vital to cultivate a competitive environment that breeds innovative ideas and translates them into effective initiatives and programmes, he stressed.
He underscored the skills and dedication of Bahraini nationals when he met several newly appointed assistant under-secretaries and directors at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Bahrainis continue to play a critical role in the advancement of the kingdom’s comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, he pointed out.
HRH the Deputy King affirmed his confidence in the kingdom’s future, underpinned by the capabilities and contributions of its national workforce across various fields.
He congratulated the newly appointed assistant under-secretaries on receiving the Royal trust, and the directors on their appointments.
HRH the Deputy King wished them success in carrying out their national duties.
Inculcating the culture of creativity contributes to enhancing government performance, keeping pace with evolving developments and creating new opportunities to drive further progress, he said.
HRH the Deputy King affirmed that advancing the kingdom’s development and building on its national achievements is a shared responsibility, requiring collective efforts, unified determination and a steadfast commitment to working as one team.
He emphasised that investing in national talent, developing their capabilities, enhancing their skills and empowering them remain among the kingdom’s foremost priorities, reflecting the firm belief that Bahrainis are the cornerstone of the kingdom’s continued development and its aspirations for greater progress and competitiveness across various fields.
The newly appointed officials expressed their gratitude for the trust bestowed upon them and their appreciation for HRH the Deputy King’s continued support of the national workforce and efforts to create quality opportunities for them to contribute effectively to Bahrain’s development.
