Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry Land Transport and Postal Affairs Under-Secretary Fatima Abdulla Al Dhaen met United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) resident representative in Bahrain Asmaa Shalabi.
The under-secretary affirmed the importance of continuing to enhance co-operation and co-ordination with United Nations Development Programme to support Bahrain’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and develop initiatives related to the transport and postal sectors.
The meeting discussed means to enhance partnership and co-operation in relevant sustainable development areas, supporting diversified and inclusive growth in line with development goals.
Issues of mutual interest were also reviewed, with emphasis on continuing co-ordination to support development efforts and initiatives.
