A total of 200 primary school students have benefited from the Royal Humanitarian Foundation’s (RHF) school readiness programme. The three-day initiative, which was recently staged at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa, aimed to enhance students’ preparedness for the new academic year through a range of educational, awareness and health activities. Workshops to develop thinking skills and strengthen students’ sense of belonging to their school environment were organised, including the ‘Little Medic’ first-aid training. RHF Educational Care and Research Section head Rima Hilal expressed her appreciation to the organisations and individuals who contributed to the success of the programme, which was held for the second consecutive year.
