Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 has confirmed Sabre as its official ATM Travel Tech Strategic Partner, highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI), data and digital transformation in the travel industry.
Taking place from
14–17 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, ATM 2026 will explore these
trends under the theme “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation
and Technology”.
ATM Travel Tech will
bring together technology providers, innovators and travel businesses to
examine emerging technologies shaping global tourism.
Sabre said the
industry is moving from AI that recommends to agentic AI that can act and
manage increasingly complex traveller journeys in real time.
The company doubled
its active pilot and production partners using its Agentic APIs and Model
Context Protocol (MCP) server from 30 in the first quarter to more than 60 in
the second quarter.
Chad Callaghan,
Director, Product Marketing, Sabre, said: “Travellers don’t think about the
technology behind a trip; they simply expect it to work. As AI moves from
providing answers to taking action, Sabre’s role is to provide the trusted,
enterprise-grade technology that connects those experiences to the systems that
power travel. That means turning intent into journeys that can actually be
searched, booked, and serviced.”
Sabre’s technology
processes more than 11 billion shopping requests monthly and around 14,000
transactions per second, drawing on more than 50 petabytes of travel data.
ATM Travel Tech will
feature more than 180 exhibitors and showcase innovations spanning AI,
robotics, immersive technologies, fintech and smart mobility.
Danielle Curtis,
Regional Portfolio Director – UAE, RX Global, said: “Technology is now central
to almost every business decision being made across the travel industry, making
it essential that ATM brings together the organisations driving that change.” -TradeArabia News Service
