Artificial intelligence platform Cogman secured first place at the 27th edition of the StartUp Bahrain Pitch series, with digital health platform Luma taking second place following a competitive showcase of local ventures.
First-place winner Fahad Al Suwaidi from Cogman called the achievement a significant milestone that would support the AI business management startup’s future expansion plans.
Bader Mattar from second-placed Luma noted that the award serves as a strong incentive to accelerate the digital health platform’s growth while connecting with key industry experts.
Powered by Tamkeen and held in collaboration with the SME Development Board, the pitch event provides an interactive platform for entrepreneurs to present technology-driven solutions to expert panels and investors.
The latest edition was attended by Sustainable Development Minister and Bahrain EDB CEO Noor Al Khulaif, Industry and Commerce Minister and SME Development Board chairman Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Tamkeen CEO Maha Mofeez, Bahrain Development Bank CEO Dalal Al Qais, and Tamkeen board member Waleed Kanoo.
Alongside the top two winners, the event showcased social media platform Vibo and operational tool Meem AI.
The judging and speaker panel featured key ecosystem figures, including keynote speaker Nawaf Al Koheji from Reete.co, Khalid Saad from Bunat Ventures, Mahmood Al Saati from Saturn Consultants, and Laith Al Khalili from Mumtalakat.
Tamkeen’s ongoing support for StartUp Bahrain aligns with its 2026 strategic priorities to foster high-impact economic initiatives, boost private sector competitiveness, and drive sustainable growth across the kingdom’s startup ecosystem.
