Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with officials working in youth affairs on the sidelines of her participation in Brain Bar 2026 in Budapest, Hungary.
Minister Tawfiqi met with Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss youth cooperation and the exchange of expertise and experience between the two countries. They also discussed means to strengthen the role of the Hope Network in supporting cooperation between institutions and young people across the Arab world.
The Youth Minister met with Haitham Youssef Al Zahaf, Minister of Youth of the State of Libya, to discuss developing youth cooperation, strengthening communication and exchanging expertise between youth institutions, and expanding Arab youth cooperation through the Hope Network.
She also met Tibor Bors Borbély-Pecze, Deputy State Secretary for Vocational Training, Adult Learning and Youth Policy Strategies and Regulation of Hungary, to discuss continued cooperation between The Kingdom of Bahrain and Hungary in youth-related fields. They discussed sharing expertise and successful practices to develop programmes and initiatives for young people.
For his part, the Hungarian official commended Bahrain’s achievements in empowering young people and developing their skills, as well as its programmes and opportunities that support youth participation in various domains.
Minister Tawfiqi also met Mark Radnai, Government Commissioner Responsible for a Functioning and Humane Hungary. They discussed cooperation in community participation, the use of technology and innovation to improve communication and engagement, and the exchange of expertise in areas of mutual interest.
