BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president and the kingdom’s delegation head at the 20th Asian Games Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa visited yesterday Bahrain’s headquarters at the athletes’ village in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Shaikh Isa toured the various facilities and saw the services available to the kingdom’s sportsmen and women.
He was accompanied during his visit by BOC executive director of operations and Bahrain’s chef de mission in Aichi-Nagoya Ahmed Abdulghaffar, along with BOC sports project management director Lounes Madene and other delegation officials.
Shaikh Isa spoke with delegation members and stressed the importance of providing the best conditions for Bahrain’s athletes in order to create the right atmosphere for them to focus on their competitions.
Shaikh Isa’s visit comes as part of his keenness to follow up on the various aspects related to the Bahraini delegation and to directly assess their needs.
