Staggering BD600 water charge for widow sparks council debate
Yes, happened to me! August and September!
@om_alaziz_om
Just paid BD580 and I think the ghosts use my electricity because I’m never home.

Computer error in new digital meters? Need to check it properly.
@thief.of.bahrain
Check previous bills. I got a bill for three years’ worth of water usage. They called to tell me that for whatever reason, they just weren’t charging me and my next bill would have the entire three-year total added to it.
@teacher_samara
How did they accumulate BD10,000 without having their EWA cut? We accumulate a fraction of that and they start to send disconnection notices.
@taniainthekitchen
If the water leak bill was BD600 it should have made a small pond or a river!
@muhammed_farhan2
I had the same issue as well, even though I wasn’t staying there. The flat was closed, there was no water usage, but I still received a bill of BD91.

Water leaking from plane ceiling soaks passengers mid-flight
The airline should refund the ticket money to everyone.
@sandeepsingh_gusain
It’s the air con system. Most of the planes were serviced recently and the dripping is the result of it, but mostly it gets fixed straight away. This happens during take off mainly.
@suhailbelushi
On massive wide body planes – like the Airbus A380 or Boeing 777—this issue can look much worse. If a condensation line block or a galley drain leak happens on an upper deck, the water travels down through the aircraft’s inner structural layers. It often pools around emergency exit signs or light fixtures on the lower deck, looking like a heavy structural leak when it is actually just trapped drainage finding its way down.
