Multiple schoolgirls at a Kuwaiti secondary school were taken to hospital after suffering from severe breathing difficulties.
Kuwait Health Ministry under-secretary Shaikh Dr Salman Khalifa Al Sabah visited several students receiving medical treatment following the incident.
Education Minister Sayed Jalal Al Tabtabai ordered a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the health scare.
Official statements did not clarify the number of students affected or identify the school involved.
The cause of the respiratory distress remains under investigation.
Ministry officials stated there will be zero tolerance for any negligence or action that compromises student safety once responsibility is established.
