All 22 Indian crew members aboard the MT GEM No. 2 oil tanker were rescued and safe after an incident off the United Arab Emirates' Ras Al Khaimah coast, the Indian consulate said on Sunday.
Bahrain praised the Coast Guard Division of UAE’s National Guard Command following the successful rescue of crew from the oil tanker that caught fire in the Arabian Gulf.
The Foreign Ministry commended the UAE forces’ rapid response and maritime emergency capability in saving lives and delivering critical medical aid to survivors.
