FINANCE and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group in Bangkok.
The meeting was attended by Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Khalid Humaidan.
Shaikh Salman highlighted the growing relations between Bahrain and Thailand, emphasising their mutual commitment to expanding co-operation and strengthening bilateral partnerships.

He underlined the importance of continued co-ordination and exchanges of expertise in financial and economic sectors to support sustainable economic growth.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and opportunities to enhance financial and economic co-operation.
The two sides also discussed matters of mutual economic interest and exchanged views on economic developments.
