MMA – Bahrain’s three-time amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) world champion Gimbat Magomedov triumphed yesterday in his RKENA x PFL bout in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Magomedov secured a first-round submission victory with a rear-naked choke against Muhammadjon Aliyev from Uzbekistan in their welterweight contest.
The result earned the 23-year-old Bahraini the second win of his professional MMA career.
Magomedov’s fellow-KHK MMA Team superstar Muhammad Mokaev was in attendance for the event.
