THE biggest jewellery showroom in the Middle East has been opened at Dubai’s Gold District by Joyalukkas in what is a landmark milestone in the group’s nearly four decades in the UAE.
The launch, which was a tribute to Dubai’s enduring stature as the City of Gold, was inaugurated by UAE Foreign Trade minister Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, India’s consul general in Dubai Dr E Vishnu Reddy, Ithra Dubai chief executive officer Issam Galadhari and Joyalukkas Group chairman Dr Joy Alukkas.
Other notable attendees included Dubai Gold District senior director Rashid Alharmoodi, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group chairman Tawhid Abdullah, and Joyalukkas chief executive officer John Alukkas.
The new 25,000 square feet Jewel of Joy, has been conceived as a complete jewellery experience centre ranging from timeless gold and elaborate bridal collections to responsibly-sourced diamonds and rare, precious gemstones.
The name ‘Jewel of Joy by Joyalukkas’ was unveiled by Mr Galadhari. At the heart of the showroom is The Royal Bangle Walk, unveiled by Dr Reddy during the inauguration.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr Alukkas said that Jewel of Joy is more than a showroom.
“It is our tribute to a city that has given us so much, and our promise to customers that we will always strive to give them more,” he said.
“For nearly 40 years, we have grown alongside the UAE, and this destination reflects the scale, craftsmanship and warmth that define both Joyalukkas and Dubai.
“Every detail has been designed to make our customers feel truly special. This is our way of saying that the best is yet to come.”
