Bahrain could get a new budget airline through a government partnership with the private sector, if MPs have their way.
The proposal, led by services committee chairman MP Dr Mohammed Al Olaiwi, calls for the establishment of a low-cost carrier to increase competition, bring down airfares and open new routes linking the kingdom with promising tourism markets .
