A subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Mining Co has resumed operations at its ammonia plant after completing technical repairs of the facility's heat exchanger, the company, known as Ma'aden, said in a bourse filing on Sunday.
The plant belongs to Maaden Phosphate Company, a 70/30 joint venture between Ma'aden and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC).
The plant, located at Ras Al Khair in the east of the kingdom, was shut on Aug. 21 to allow repairs to take place.
The shutdown had "no significant financial impact" on Ma'aden and obligations to customers were not affected, the statement said.
