Emirates Airlines has cancelled and delayed several inbound and outbound flights on Sunday due to heavy fog in Dubai, said a spokesperson of the airline.
Emirates Airlines urged clients to check the status of their flights through the airline's call centre or website, according to WAM.
"The safety of passengers and crew is a top priority for us," said the airline in a statement.
Meanwhile, the National Centre of Meteorology, NCM, has re-issued a fog warning, alerting motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution and follow traffic rules and instructions during the fog.
According to the NCM, poor visibility of less than 50 metres will occur during fog formation along most coastal and inland areas within the country for Sunday night, as well as the next two nights and early mornings.
