Revised rates have come into force for car parking at Bahrain International Airport (BIA) since the start of the new year, it has emerged.
Tariffs for Park A (for those who want to park close to the terminal building) are 500 fils per hour for 24 hours and BD10 for a full day (24 hours).
Rates for Park D (for those who want to park their cars over multiple days in the long-term car park) are BD3 per day (24 hours).
For overflow car park in Galali, where passengers can park their vehicles over multiple days and take a shuttle to the departure building, the rate is BD1 per day (24 hours).
Tariffs for pick-up and exit lanes remain free for the first 15 minutes, BD1 from 16th to 60th minute and BD5 per hour thereafter.
Sources told the GDN that the increase in tariffs had been publicised earlier.
