Young Bahrainis are the future of the country and they are the ones that will energise the economy, advance society and help the kingdom achieve sustainable development goals, the Crown Prince observed yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, highlighted the importance of prioritising advanced training initiatives to develop and strengthen their leadership and management skills.
He was speaking as he met successful candidates joining the fourth First Deputy Prime Minister’s Fellowship (FDPM Fellowship).
The Crown Prince stressed that Bahrain’s citizens are at the core of the kingdom’s sustainable development initiatives, and stressed the essential role Bahrainis play in all sectors of the economy.
He congratulated them and expressed his pride in skills and expertise developed by former fellows, noting that their subsequent achievements reflect a commitment to excellence nurtured during their time with the programme.
The Crown Prince expressed hope that the incoming fellows will take advantage of the opportunities the fellowship offers, enhance their skills and expertise, and contribute to Bahrain’s development.
He also expressed his appreciation to the fellowship’s administrators, noting their commitment to achieving the objectives of the programme.
The fellows thanked the Crown Prince for the support he provides for Bahrain’s workforce through various programmes and initiatives.
