Public Security Chief Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan has announced that all gatherings consisting of more than five people have been banned.
He said measures will be taken against any violators.
He also said gatherings at public coasts and places should stop.
He said the measure is to limit the spread of Covid-19.
