FOR the past four weeks I have been trying to access an Indian state government’s website to pay my property taxes.
However, https://bbmptax.karnataka.gov.in/ seems to have been blocked for some reason and displays the message: ‘The website cannot be reached’.
I have confirmed that the site opens normally in countries other than Bahrain! I have tried different browsers and devices, but no luck.
Strangely enough, we could access the website in Bahrain last year.
If I can’t access the webiste, I won’t be able to pay my taxes and thereby incur penalties.
Can some relevant Bahrain government agency or the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority please throw some light on this?
