Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud condemned the Houthi militia's attempt to target Mecca during a Cabinet session on Tuesday.
He praised the kingdom’s military and security personnel for defending the homeland and resolutely confronting aggression against holy sites, pilgrims, citizens, and residents.
King Salman emphasised that the crime, which drew widespread international condemnation, violated the sanctity of Islam's holy sites and provoked the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.
