US President Donald Trump met with leaders from the GCC and across the Middle East to discuss the situation in Iran on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York.
The meeting was attended by Bahrain Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa, Egyptian officials, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.

"We think that the situation with Iran could end right after the (November 3) midterm elections, maybe before. I don't know. You never know," Trump said as he met the leaders.
Trump described the leaders at the meeting as "some of America's greatest and closest friends, allies, and partners" working towards "a safer and more prosperous Middle East".
