MANAMA: Trafco Group has announced the appointment of Azzam Moutragi as the new chief executive with effect from May 1, 2021.
Mr Moutragi takes over from S Sridhar, who is retiring after more than 26 years of service with the group including the role of group CEO since January 2017.
A Bahraini national, Mr Azzam has been the group’s acting general manager since the start of the year, after being the sales and marketing manager for more than 15 years.
He has more than 30 years experience in the management, sales and marketing of food and consumer goods across the kingdom, the Gulf countries and Lebanon.
Mr Moutragi holds an advanced university degree in business administration
